The Opportunity

We’re a fast-scaling technology company operating across Canada and the U.S., and our finance infrastructure needs to match our growth. This role owns the full accounting engine , month-end close, multi-entity consolidation, cross-border compliance, and process-building , with a clear path upward as the team expands.

You’ll work directly with the Director of Finance and leadership team. No layers, no red tape , just real impact on a company that’s moving fast and building right.

What You'll Own

Lead the full monthly close cycle , GL, accruals, journal entries, reconciliations , within strict timelinesManage intercompany accounting and reconciliations across Canadian and U.S. entitiesPrepare monthly financial statements, variance analysis, KPI reporting, and forecasting supportOversee accounts payable, receivable, invoicing, collections, and banking activitiesMaintain accuracy and integrity of financial records in QuickBooks OnlineManage U.S. multi-state sales tax compliance and filingsIdentify automation opportunities and build scalable financial controlsSupport budgeting, forecasting, and operational financial analysisCollaborate cross-functionally with leadership on reporting visibility and financial accuracy

What You'll Bring

Required:

4–6+ years of progressive, full-cycle accounting experienceStrong month-end close ownership and financial statement preparationQuickBooks Online or similar ERP/accounting system proficiencyAdvanced Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data validation)Experience in SaaS, tech, startup, or high-growth environments is highly preferred

Strong assets:

Multi-entity, cross-border, or multi-currency accounting experienceU.S. multi-state sales tax / compliance background

Diriger le cycle complet de clôture mensuelle : grand livre, régularisations, écritures de journal et rapprochements dans les délais requisGérer la comptabilité interentités et les rapprochements entre les entités canadiennes et américainesPréparer les états financiers mensuels, les analyses des écarts, les rapports sur les indicateurs de performance et le soutien aux prévisionsSuperviser les comptes fournisseurs, les comptes clients, la facturation, les recouvrements et les activités bancairesMaintenir l’exactitude et l’intégrité des dossiers financiers dans QuickBooks OnlineGérer la conformité fiscale de vente aux États-Unis et les déclarations multi-ÉtatsCerner les possibilités d’automatisation et mettre en place des contrôles financiers évolutifsCollaborer avec la direction sur la visibilité des rapports et l’exactitude financière
