Housing Coordinator at Mid-America Regional Council – Kansas City, Missouri

The Mid-America Regional Council (MARC) is seeking a qualified individual to serve as a Housing Coordinator. This person will manage specific projects and research for the Regional Housing Partnership and work across MARC departments on housing-related initiatives.

This is a full-time position within the Local Government Services Department. The Housing Coordinator manages projects and research for the Regional Housing Partnership, coordinates with various MARC departments, and reports to the Regional Housing Program Manager. What you’ll do:

Basic requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in public administration, urban planning, community and regional planning, law, nonprofit management, project management, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum three years’ experience in project management and financial management.
• Minimum three years’ experience in the housing field.
• Any equivalent combination of knowledge, skills, education, and experience may be considered.

Additional qualifications: Your resume will stand out if you have:

• Experience with housing data platforms or grant administration.
• Experience working with diverse stakeholders.
• Advanced degree in a related field.

SALARY AND BENEFITS

Starting salary for this position is from $50,000 to $65,000 per year, depending upon qualifications. MARC offers an attractive team-oriented work environment along with a competitive fringe benefit package. Employees may work remotely up to two days per week.
