Position Overview
SinterMet, LLC is a leading manufacturer of tungsten carbide and composite rolls serving the steel and metals industries. We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager with a strong background in steel, metals, or heavy industrial markets to drive growth and support our customer base.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow relationships with existing customers within the steel and metals industry
- Support pricing, quotations, contract review, and customer requirements
- Develop new business opportunities and expand market presence
- Facilitate sales activities in alignment with company policies and procedures
- Assist in developing sales forecasts and supporting strategic planning efforts
- Collaborate with operations and internal teams to meet customer and company objectives
- Monitor customer needs and identify opportunities for account growth
- Experience in steel metals or heavy industrial sales strongly preferred
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to support structured sales processes and customer requirements
- Self-motivated with a customer-focused mindset
- Experience in technical product sales
- Familiarity working with mills, processors, or heavy industrial customers
- Exposure to ISO or structured manufacturing environments
- Experience with pricing, quoting, and contract review processes
- Ability to travel as needed to support customer relationships and business development
