Job Description

Wilson Equipment Company is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist for our Lexington location. This employee needs to be well organized, experienced with accounting and good with customers!

Job Tasks

Managing accounts payable using accounting software and other programsKeeping track of all payments and expenditures, purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc.Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balancesMaintaining historical recordsPaying employees by verifying expense reports and preparing pay checksPaying vendors by scheduling pay checks and ensuring payment is received for outstanding creditPreparing analyses of accounts and producing monthly reports

Continuing to improve the payment processOther duties as requiredRequired Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years related experienceHigh school diplomaStrong attention to detailMotivated, self-starter who can also work well on a teamHigh sense of urgencyAbility to multi-task Ability to manage multiple projects, set priorities and address issues as they ariseProficient with Microsoft Office and accounting software
