About This Position
MasterMold is seeking a dependable and hard-working employees to perform deep cleaning of the paint line on the overnight shift every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night. This role is focused primarily on cleaning tasks within the paint department to help maintain a safe, clean, and production-ready environment. The position requires someone comfortable performing physically demanding work, including frequent bending, lifting, climbing, reaching, and extended time on their feet.
This position plays an important role in keeping the paint line clean, safe, and ready for production. Thorough weekend deep cleaning helps support product quality, equipment condition, and overall department performance.
Schedule:
Overnight shift on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights (36 hours a week)
Key Responsibilities:
Perform deep cleaning of paint line equipment, booths, conveyors, fixtures, robots, floors, walls, and surrounding work areas
Remove paint overspray, buildup, residue, dust, and debris from equipment and department surfaces using approved cleaning tools and materials
Scrape, wipe, sweep, wash, and clean designated paint line areas during scheduled weekend cleaning periods
Clean hard-to-reach areas on and around paint equipment, including areas requiring bending, stretching, kneeling, and climbing
Move cleaning materials, waste containers, and equipment as needed to complete assigned cleaning tasks
Support general housekeeping and cleanliness standards throughout the paint department
Identify and report any visible equipment issues, damage, or unsafe conditions noticed during cleaning
Follow all safety requirements related to PPE, chemical handling, ladders, and paint department procedures
Properly dispose of waste materials and maintain cleaning tools and supplies in good order
Physical Requirements:
Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, kneeling, and reaching throughout the shift
Frequent lifting and carrying of materials weighing up to 50 pounds
Frequent climbing of ladders or platforms as needed to access and clean equipment and work areas
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during the shift
Ability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks in an industrial environment
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous industrial cleaning, janitorial, manufacturing, or related experience preferred
Ability to work independently and stay productive during overnight hours
Strong attention to detail and commitment to thorough cleaning
Reliable attendance and ability to work the scheduled weekend overnight shift
Ability to safely perform physically demanding work in a manufacturing setting
Work Environment:
This position works in a manufacturing paint line environment and may involve exposure to paint residue, dust, cleaning chemicals, industrial equipment, noise, and varying temperatures. Required personal protective equipment must be worn at all times.
6pm to 6am Thursday, Friday, Saturday
