Floor Finisher at Citizens Memorial – Bolivar, Missouri

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) in Bolivar, MO is hiring a Floor Finisher to assist at our main hospital in Bolivar! CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 Long-Term Care facilities and 1 residential care facility. Offering acute care, emergency services, ambulatory care, pharmacies, walk-in clinics, surgeries, addiction recovery, therapies and more, CMH has its community covered!

About the department: Coordinating daily housekeeping services to assure that the hospital maintains a clean, safe, and sanitary facility. Following proper techniques when mixing chemicals, disinfectants, and solutions used in the work area. Environmental Services ensures that Infection Control and Universal Precautions are maintained

A typical day will include: responsibility for cleaning and refinishing floors, buffing, stripping and waxing on a regular basis.

• Maintaining shine on floors via spray buffing / burnishing as per P/P.
• Completing detail work (edges, corners, baseboards, all finish removed, door jambs) ensures the solution is not splashed on walls, carpeting, or other areas.
• Providing public access safety with proper control of chemicals, caution signs, and restriction of the work site.

Job Requirements:

• Education: Preferred High School Diploma or equivalent
• Skills: Service
• Licensure/Certification: N/A
• Physical: Prolong periods of standing and walking; ability to read and write documentation; Exerting 20 to 50 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or 10-25 lbs. of force frequently.

The position is: Full Time, Evenings 8:00p.m-4:30a.m
