A Day in the Life as a Parts & Warehouse Associate
As a Parts & Warehouse Associate, you'll take charge of fulfilling and shipping parts orders, ensuring they reach their destination smoothly. You'll also oversee the receipt, stocking, and organization of incoming parts inventory. Beyond that, you'll be the go-to for warehouse support, stepping in wherever needed to keep operations running seamlessly. You will:
- Fulfill, pack, and ship parts orders using handheld barcode scannersComplete shipping processes and paperwork, including the use of UPS shipping systemsMaintain organization and efficiency in the part roomOperate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely as neededAssist with crating/crating parts and equipment as neededAssist with weekly cycle counts and physical inventories
What You Need
- High School Diploma or equivalentStrong mechanical aptitudeBasic woodworking skills and knowledge/experience in operation of handheld power toolsBasic math skillsExcellent interpersonal, verbal/written communication, and customer service skillsDetail oriented with strong time management, accuracy, and organizational skillsAbility to work both independently and as part of a team and collaborate with colleagues at all levelsAbility to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven work environment
