Requirements:

Job Summary

Responsible for managing inventory levels and purchasing activities to support production and business demands. This role ensures materials are available when needed, maintains accurate inventory data, and supports cost-effective operations.


Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate records
  • Analyze data to support forecasting, replenishment, and cost control
  • Create and manage purchase orders; track and follow up on deliveries
  • Coordinate with vendors, warehouse, and production teams to ensure material availability
  • Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies and potential shortages
  • Maintain item, vendor, and inventory data within ERP/MRP systems
  • Support cycle counts and physical inventories
  • Assist with production planning and scheduling activities
  • Ensure compliance with cGMP and company standards
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2+ years of experience in inventory control, purchasing, or supply chain
  • Manufacturing or distribution experience preferred
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and lookup functions
  • Experience with ERP systems preferred
The top candidate will have
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably FDA-regulated
  • Strong working knowledge of inventory systems and MRP processes
  • Proven ability to reduce shortages, improve inventory accuracy, and support production flow
  • Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyze and interpret data quickly
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with production, warehouse, and purchasing teams
  • Strong attention to detail with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Work Environment

This role works in both office and manufacturing/warehouse settings, with exposure to varying temperatures, equipment noise, and active production areas.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday–Friday. Additional hours or occasional Saturdays may be required based on business needs.
