Job Description
Clement Manor is a faith-based independent living, assisted living, CBRF and long term care community, nationally recognized for providing a superior quality environment for older adults. These certified nursing assistants will assist residents with ADLs and help facilitate resident activities. Previous experience in a similar setting is helpful (Please provide dates of experience in resume). These positions will require every other weekend and every other holiday rotations. There is a shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shift.
Positions Open:
1st Shift - (2:45pm-11:15pm) Full Time hours
2nd Shift - (2:45pm-11:15pm) Full Time & Part Time hours
3rd Shift - (11pm-7:30am) Full Time & Part Time hours
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Clement Manor Home. As a CNA, you will be responsible for providing quality care to our residents in a skilled nursing facility. Your primary goal will be to ensure the comfort and safety of our residents while promoting their independence and dignity. You will work closely with our nursing staff to provide exceptional care and support to our residents.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Active CNA certification in the state of Wisconsin
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility
- Experience with electronic medical records
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
- Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics and equipment
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
Skills:
As a CNA, you will utilize your strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with residents and their families. You will also use your attention to detail and critical thinking skills to monitor and record vital signs and report any changes in condition to the nursing staff. In addition, you will use your physical stamina and ability to lift and move residents to assist with mobility and transfers. Your ability to work collaboratively with the nursing staff and other healthcare professionals will be essential in providing exceptional care to our residents.
