About the Role
We are opening a new office in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, offering PostScan Mail and Certifix Live Scan services. We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Service Coordinator to support daily operations, assist customers in person, and provide customer support via phone and email.
This is a hands-on role that combines front desk service, mail handling, fingerprinting services, and customer support. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and comfortable working with customers both in person and remotely.
Key Responsibilities
Mailroom & Operations (PostScan Mail)
- Receive, sort, and process incoming mail and packages
- Scan mail items and upload them to customer accounts
- Handle customer requests such as mail forwarding, shredding, and storage
- Maintain accurate records and ensure proper handling of sensitive documents
- Keep the workspace clean, organized, and secure
Fingerprinting Services (Certifix Live Scan)
- Capture fingerprints using electronic Live Scan equipment (training provided)
- Assist customers with forms and verify identification
- Follow procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Maintain proper setup and cleanliness of equipment
Customer Support (Phone & Email)
- Answer inbound calls and assist customers with service-related questions
- Respond to customer emails in a timely and professional manner
- Help resolve common issues related to mail services and accounts
- Escalate more complex issues when needed
Front Desk & Customer Experience
- Greet and assist walk-in customers
- Explain services and pricing clearly
- Provide a friendly, professional, and efficient customer experience
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of customer service, administrative, or similar experience preferred
- Strong communication skills (in person, phone, and email)
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly
- High attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
Preferred (Not Required)
- Experience in mail handling, shipping, or office operations
- Experience in customer support or call handling
- Experience with identity verification or similar services
Work Environment
- On-site role at our Milwaukee office
- Mix of desk work, customer interaction, and light physical activity (handling mail and packages)
Compensation
- $18.00 – $20.00 per hour, based on experience
