Key responsibilities include:
- Managing quotes, follow‑ups, and closing opportunities
- Processing purchase orders, acknowledgements, expedites, and RMAs
- Partnering with Outside Sales to build pipeline and strengthen customer Relationships
- Researching accounts, identifying key contacts, and generating interest
- Maintaining profitability while supporting inventory and supply chain solutions
- Updating opportunities in Marsh’s Customer Relationship Management system
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem‑solving and organizational abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Basic math skills (fractions, decimals, percentages)
- Occasional overnight travel (less than 5%)
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1–3 years of industrial sales and/or customer service experience
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Regular speaking and listening
- Prolonged periods of sitting and computer use
- Occasional reaching and lifting up to 25 pounds
