Position Overview:

  • Position: Executive Assistant to CEO
  • Start Date: Q1 2025

Direct Responsibilities:

  • Marketing and Brand Management Support: Work with the marketing team to implement and promote brand messaging across all platforms (website, social media, email, etc.) This includes overseeing event planning and material prep for tradeshows, conferences, and other promotional events. Manage the purchasing and distribution of company apparel, gifts, and promotional materials.
  • Branch Office Operations Support: Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for branch office presentation and operations by working with Office Managers and the Regional Manager. Manage relationships with shared vendors and suppliers to ensure consistency across all locations.
  • Industry Relations Management: Coordinate and manage MPE's participation in industry associations (Petroleum Equipment Institute, Nebraska Petroleum Marketers Association, Fuel Iowa, FuelTrue (KS), South Dakota Petroleum Marketers Association, Minnesota Petroleum Marketers Association, Association of General Contractors, and Renewable Fuels/Ethanol Association), including scheduling meetings, managing memberships, and representing MPE at relevant events.
  • Event Management and Representation: Coordinate and manage MPE’s participation in tradeshows, conferences and special events. This includes logistical arrangements and representing MPE professionally to enhance brand awareness and build relationships.
  • Strategic Planning Support: Assist executive leadership in the development and execution of strategic plans, including contributing to revenue growth, program development, building the brand and providing administrative support as needed.
  • Project Management and Coordination: Manage and coordinate special projects and assignments as directed by the CEO, ensuring timely completion and effective communication.
  • Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support including scheduling, travel arrangements, communication management, and other duties as assigned. Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with all employees, customers, and vendors.

Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, brand management, and customer segmentation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business administration or related field

Hours and Travel:

  • This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday
  • Travel is primarily local, but some overnight regional travel will be required (25%)
