Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Trailing Documents Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Security Instrument not Shipped Queue, receiving, reviewing, scanning, filing, logging, and shipping all trailing documents that have been received in the office via mail and email. The Trailing Documents Specialist will also be responsible for creating and handling all re-recording, corrected title policies, and Assignments Of Mortgages being recorded, creating Scrivener's Affidavits, getting them executed, and sending them to the appropriate party for recording. Additionally, the Trailing Documents Specialist will create check requests when applicable for re-recording fees, escalate any issues to management when unable to handle a task, and add all queue notes and task list notes/tasks when there is a delay or correction needed.

Responsibilities:

- Manage the Security Instrument not Shipped Queue

- Receive, review, scan, file, log, and ship all trailing documents that have been received in the office via mail and email

- Create and handle all re-recording, corrected title policies, and Assignments Of Mortgages being recorded, creating Scrivener's Affidavits, getting them executed, and sending them to the appropriate party for recording

- Create check requests when applicable for re-recording fees

- Escalate any issues to management when unable to handle a task

- Add all queue notes and task list notes/tasks when there is a delay or correction needed

- Pull reports from all investors and verify if documents have been sent out and send tracking to the appropriate party

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- would prefer 1 years of experience in a similar role

- Strong organizational and time-management skills

- Excellent attention to detail

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software

- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
