Project Manager (PMO) in Bethesda, Maryland at Spatial Front, Inc.

We are looking for outstanding Project Managers with in-depth experience in a PMO, with AWS Cloud project experience. This is a full time position. Minimal travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide project management leadership and vision in a PMO setup.
• Understand software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile software development methodology.
• AWS Cloud specific project management
• Develop and manage a clear and detailed project plan.
• Manage multiple projects and apply common standards and processes to the execution of projects.
• Coordinate between project managers and the scheduling and tracking of projects.
• Monitor program progress, issues, risks and reports.
• Oversee and manage program budget and contract administration.
• Serve as the primary point of contact to the CO and COR on all matters.
• Provide supervision and guidance to personnel as appropriate.
• Prepare and/or give presentations and briefings.

• Bachelor degree is required.
• Project Management Professional (PMP), Program Management Professional (PgMP) or equivalent is desirable.
• 5 year project management experience
• AWS Cloud project management experience
• Experience in a PMO setting required
• Possess strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Strong software development background including Agile SDLC
• Scrum Master certification or SAFe agilest is a plus
• EVM knowledge is a plus
• Possess strong problem solving skills and be able to quickly address and resolve a variety of issues
• Ability to pass a US Public Trust background investigation for access to the client site and computing systems

Other Information

• The salary for this position is $110,000 - $150,000 annually
• This role offers a flexible work arrangement, primarily remote with the understanding that occasional on-site presence may be required to support client needs.
