Shift Monitor in Placerville, California at PROGRESS HOUSE INC

Starting Pay: $16.90 per hour

Maximum Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour

Employees may be eligible for pay increases until they reach the maximum pay rate for this position.

Shift Monitors are responsible for the oversight of a designated residential facility from late evening to early morning, or late afternoon to late evening. This shift is performed awake, for eight (8) hours with a paid, one (1) hour lunch and paid one (1) hour break period as you are required to remain on property for the entire shift.

Responsibilities and Duties: (Include, but are not limited to:)

• Collaborate with outgoing swing-shift staff to exchange any information regarding the condition and state of facility and clients.
  1. Read and sign off on shift notes; clarify any questions or concerns
• Perform walk-through of facility to check on clients at the start of your shift and every hour throughout your shift
  1. Note any activity in shift notes
• Ensure lights are out and all clients are accounted for
• Attend to clients' needs as necessary; enforce program policies as applicable for night activity
• Complete assigned office tasks as directed (e.g., filing, uploading client documents, copying, phones, record-keeping, EMR entries, etc.)
• Clean offices as directed; prepare facility for next working day
• Collaborate with incoming day shift staff; report shift activities, condition and state of facilities and clients
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, CHSPE, GED or equivalent

• Pre-Employment Investigative Background Check and Drug Test is required.
• Progress House, Inc. is a Drug-Free Workplace.
• Post-Hire TB Test is required
• Post-hire physical including fitness for duty examination is required.
