BERT OGDEN TOYOTA OF HARLINGEN SERVICE TECHNICIAN at Fiesta Harlingen Motors Inc – Harlingen, Texas

The Service Technician is responsible for performing vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned in accordance with- dealer and factory standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Receive repair orders from dispatcher and proceed to service lift.
• Diagnose the cause of any malfunction and perform repair. Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts. Save and tag parts if the job is under warranty or if requested by the customer.
• Advise advisor immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the time promised.
• Document work performed. Road-test vehicles when required or refer to test technician. Attend factorysponsored training classes. Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins.

• Must have a valid Texas Driver License
• Must be 21 or older
• Must pass a drug test.
• Must pass a background check screening.

QUALIFICATIONS

• ASE certification is preferred. e General mechanical skills.
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
