Prn Private Duty Caregiver at Your Tailor Made Senior Service – Irving, Texas

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Caregiver / Home Health Aide to provide dedicated, one-on-one care for our private client. The client is bedbound in a hospital bed and requires specialized assistance due to bilateral lower extremity contractures and a right upper extremity contracture.

This is a full-time position with an immediate start. The ideal candidate will have previous experience caring for patients with limited mobility, strong attention to detail, and a genuine passion for improving quality of life for others.

• Provide personal care support including:

  • Hourly diaper checks and diaper changes as needed

  • Full sponge baths twice weekly

  • Weekly hair washing and blow drying (no hair ties/clips used)

  • Daily skin care: apply lotion and barrier cream as directed

  • Dressing and grooming assistance

• Assist with hydration

• Maintain patient comfort and entertain TV (game shows, sitcoms), engage with spelling, flashcards, and workbooks

• Complete light housekeeping tasks:

  • Sweep, vacuum, mop, dust

  • Wash dishes/load dishwasher

  • Complete laundry per care plan (sheets, blankets, pajamas, clothing)

• Follow safety protocols:

  • Patient should not be transferred or moved out of bed without two caregivers present

• Maintain respectful, patient-centered care at all times

• Previous experience as a Caregiver, Home Health Aide (HHA), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), or Personal Care Attendant (PCA) preferred

• Experience with bedbound clients, incontinence care, and safe handling practices

• Ability to follow a detailed care plan and household instructions

• Compassion, patience, and reliability are essential

• Must be able to lift, bend, and assist with physical care needs
