Certified Nursing Assistant at RIGHT TIME NOW TALENT – Long Beach, California

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team of healthcare professionals. CNAs play a vital role in providing quality care and support to patients in healthcare facilities such as hospitals, nursing homes, and rehabilitation centers.

Responsibilities:

- Assisting patients with daily tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting

- Monitoring patients' health status and reporting any changes to the nursing staff

- Taking and recording vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature

- Helping patients with mobility issues, including transferring them from beds to wheelchairs

- Feeding patients who are unable to feed themselves

- Providing emotional support and companionship to patients

- Ensuring a clean and safe environment for patients

- Adhering to all safety and infection control protocols

- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients

- Documenting patient care activities and communicating effectively with the healthcare team

Qualifications:

- Valid CNA certification

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work effectively in a team setting

- Compassion and empathy for patients

- Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures

- Ability to lift and move patients safely

- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

- ProAct or equivalent MAB training or certification (Preferred)
