Job Description

  • Position Summary
    • Serves as program assistant for the corporate Employee Health Services function. Maintains the electronic and paper records for the Employee Health office, Medical Clinic and Wellness areas, prepares reports and assures integrity of data.
  • Minimum Qualifications
    • Work Experience
      • Two years of progressively responsible clerical experience required.
      • Experience with database management or health program support experience in an Employee Health/Occupational Health or Physician Office environment strongly preferred.

    • Education
      • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.

    • Certifications/Licensure
      • None required.

      • Reviews, interprets, inputs and maintains electronic and hard copy data on Med Center Health employees, including changes, modifications or updates to employee demographic data related to new hires, rehires, transfers, name changes, data changes, terminations, etc. Processes employee information, employment actions and general maintenance of employee records in the EH database system to include:
        • review and audit of employee information submitted on relevant documents to ensure accuracy and completion in accordance to established policy and procedure (audit reports).
        • follow-up as necessary for correction, clarification and/or completion of employee information.
        • entry of employee information entered into EH database/tracking systems.
      • Under general supervision, assists in providing overall maintenance support, data integrity and analysis for information stored in the Employee Health database. Maintains critical information contained in Employee Health database/tracking systems to include:
        • audits entries made into EH database/tracking systems
        • generates and prepares reports in a systematic method using various frequencies such as weekly, biweekly, monthly, quarterly or annually.
        • provides input for necessary report parameters to support data integrity audits. Performs research and testing of new reports to authenticate relevance to data integrity audits.
      • Provides guidance and assistance and resolves issues relating to general report requests for EH Wellness, EH Medical Clinic and EH Nursing clinic. Prepares employee communications, reminders and follow-ups on EH Mandatory Requirements and noncompliant issues.
      • Works with Director, EH staff and Information Technology staff to review, identify, and modify Employee Health data entry processes and reporting methodology to improve system performance and operation. Assists in the implementation and post-implementation analysis for accuracy and completeness.
      • Assists in the operation of the Corporate Wellness Function and in other wellness projects and activities.
