Unit Secretary at Montefiore St. Luke's Cornwall – Newburgh, New York

Rate: $19.08

Responsible for performing variety of indirect patient care tasks to promote unit organization and smooth function under the direction of the nurse in charge and/or the Clinical Nurse Manager/Director. Provides assistance to the nurses by accurately transcribing and placing orders in the computer.

Education/Training: High School diploma or equivalent. Ability to read, write and communicate in English

Experience: Basic Computer Skills; Medical Terminology.

Licensure, Registration or Certification: Must complete Non-Crisis Intervention Training on a bi-annual basis.
