Job Description

Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst
OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and adaptable QA Analyst to support our digital platform initiatives, including our eCommerce website and customer portal. This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality releases through structured testing, clear documentation, and close collaboration with Product and Engineering teams.The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, can balance structured testing with rapid validation for hotfixes, and is comfortable evolving processes as the platform scales.Key ResponsibilitiesTest Planning & ExecutionDevelop, maintain, and execute test plans and test cases for new features, enhancements, and bug fixesWrite clear, reusable test scripts for both manual and future automated testingPerform functional, regression, and end-to-end testing across web and portal experiencesValidate integrations across systemsUser Acceptance Testing (UAT)Lead and support UAT cycles with business stakeholdersTranslate business requirements and PRDs into test scenariosEnsure all acceptance criteria are met prior to releaseProvide clear sign-off recommendations based on test resultsDefect Management & LoggingIdentify, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps, severity, and impactMaintain an organized and efficient defect log with proper prioritizationPartner closely with Engineering to triage, retest, and validate fixesEnsure regression coverage for resolved issuesCross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with Product Management, Developers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and expected behaviorParticipate in sprint planning, standups, and release discussionsAct as a quality advocate across all digital initiativesContinuous Improvement & ScalabilityHelp define and improve QA processes, standards, and documentationSupport the evolution toward automated testing where applicableAdapt testing approaches to support rapid releases, hotfixes, and ongoing enhancementsContribute to building a scalable QA function as digital products growRequired Qualifications2–5+ years of QA experience in web, eCommerce, or customer-facing applicationsExperience writing structured test cases and test scriptsStrong understanding of end-to-end testing across web applicationsProven ability to log and manage defects in a clear, organized mannerExperience working closely with development teams in agile environmentsAbility to balance thorough testing with speed and business prioritiesPreferred QualificationsExperience testing integrated systems (e.g., CRM like Salesforce, ERP, payment platforms)Familiarity with tools like ClickUp, Jira, or similar test/defect management systemsExposure to test automation frameworks or toolsExperience with eCommerce platforms and customer portalsUnderstanding of API testing and basic technical debuggingKey Traits for SuccessHighly detail-oriented with strong organizational skillsProactive and adaptable in a fast-moving environmentStrong communicator who can clearly articulate issues and risksComfortable working on both planned releases and urgent bug fixesOwnership mindset with a focus on delivering a high-quality customer experience
