OCCU is seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Senior DMV Representative to join its Titles department. This is an on-site opportunity based in Eugene, Oregon. The wage for this role is $30-$33 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
About the Role:
The Senior DMV Representative serves as a subject matter expert in title and DMV processing, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant handling of lien and collateral documentation. As a key resource for the Titles team, this role provides technical guidance, resolves complex member issues, and supports daily workflow coordination. The Senior DMV Representative also assists with training new team members, monitoring department procedures, and maintaining strong relationships with internal partners, members, and external dealers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a subject matter expert for title and DMV processing, ensuring compliance with state regulations
- Respond to internal and external requests in a timely and professional manner
- Assist with backlog processing, including titles, payoffs, DMV submissions, member and dealer title releases, and letters of guarantee
- Resolve complex member issues, inquiries, and escalations
- Communicate with internal departments, managers, and dealers to resolve title-related concerns
- Assist management with workload distribution and scheduling
- Train new team members and communicate process or regulatory changes
- Monitor department procedures for accuracy and efficiency; contribute to updating knowledge assets
- Follow all BSA regulations, including CTR and SAR reporting requirements
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum two years of experience in all phases of title and DMV processing within a dealership, DMV office, or financial institution
- Strong technical knowledge of title and DMV regulations
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain processes clearly
- Strong problem-solving abilities and comfort handling escalated issues
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage shifting workloads, and maintain accuracy
- Professional presence and ability to collaborate effectively with team members and external partners
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience training others or supporting workflow coordination
- Familiarity with financial institution processes and documentation
- Strong attention to detail and comfort working in a fast-paced environment
Education:
A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
