Fitness Floor Attendant-RUMC Fitness Center in Chicago, Illinois at Rush Copley Medical Center

Position Summary: Responsible for rounding throughout the fitness floor interacting with members and non-members, cleaning fitness equipment, and assuring there are enough supplies available (ex. towels, sanitizer).

Position Requirements:

• Education: Degree in fitness related field or actively pursuing one, or a minimum of 3 years experience as a fitness floor attendant or nationally accredited certification in a fitness-related field.
• Certifications:

• American Heart Association or American Red Cross CPR/AED certification.
• Nationally accredited certification in a fitness-related field preferred.

• Other:

• Possess strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Must be able to maintain a minimum availability of two 4-6 hour shifts per week.
• The employee may need to work early mornings, evenings and/or weekends to ensure center goals are met.
