Description: Recruiting Intern

Co-ops at Etegent get the opportunity to work on projects that make a difference in a wide range of exciting fields. This internship is designed to develop future recruiters through hands-on involvement in sourcing, interview coordination, recruiting operations, and talent acquisition strategy.

The Role:

Etegent Technologies is seeking a Recruiting Intern to support our growing Talent Acquisition efforts. This internship provides hands-on exposure to full-cycle recruiting within the aerospace, defense, software engineering, and intelligence sectors. The intern will work directly with our Talent Acquisition leader to help identify top talent, support candidate engagement efforts, coordinate interviews, and improve recruiting processes.

This is an excellent opportunity for a student interested in recruiting, human resources, business, communications, or a related field who wants practical experience supporting real hiring initiatives for highly technical positions.

What You’ll Do:

Etegent has a long history of working with co- students to help them achieve their professional goals. In fact, many of our full-time engineers began their careers with Etegent as co-ops. We know first-hand the importance of providing co-ops with high quality learning experiences tailored to the individual’s goals.

  • Assist with candidate sourcing through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, networking platforms, and other sourcing tools
  • Conduct market research and talent mapping for engineering, software, defense, and technical positions
  • Review resumes and help identify candidates who meet position requirements
  • Assist with candidate outreach and scheduling phone screens and interviews
  • Coordinate interview logistics between candidates, recruiters, and hiring managers
  • Format and organize interview guides, candidate scorecards, and hiring documentation within established templates
  • Help maintain candidate records and recruiting activity within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Support job posting creation and updates across multiple recruiting platforms
  • Assist with candidate experience initiatives and recruiting process improvements
  • Participate in recruiting strategy discussions and workforce planning activities
  • Support employer branding efforts through LinkedIn, company website content, and recruiting campaigns

Requirements:

Required Qualifications:

  • Possess a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher, reflective of all college coursework
  • Currently enrolled in and pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, Psychology, Marketing, or a related field
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to create, edit, and format professional documents, presentations, and recruiting materials using established templates and guidelines
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
  • Experience with LinkedIn, Canva, applicant tracking systems (ATS), or recruiting tools is a plus
