Position Overview
Greentown Labs is seeking an organized, proactive Program Coordinator to support the everyday management, communications, and operations of Greentown Go — Greentown’s partnership accelerator program. This role reports to the Senior Director of External Programs and works closely with internal teams across Startup Success, Marketing, and Events, as well as external startup and corporate partner stakeholders.
You’ll play a key role in tactical administration, information management, and stakeholder coordination across multiple concurrent Go programs. This is an excellent entry point for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, treats systems and processes as leverage, and is passionate about the role of startup–corporate collaboration in scaling climate solutions.
What you'll do
Program Operations & Coordination
Support multiple concurrent Greentown Go programs via project management, startup and corporate partner stakeholder management, communications, scheduling, coordination, and administrationCollaborate in managing many constituent groups and establishing expectations, deliverables, milestones, and momentum while maintaining high-quality customer serviceCollect, manage, and analyze information across the program lifecycle (application data, survey data, cadence call notes, and more)Identify opportunities to improve program operations—building new processes, tools, or workflows that increase efficiency and scalability across Greentown GoCollaborate in planning and executing programming based on participants’ business and technical needsRecruitment, Scouting & Sourcing
Lead on the Recruitment and Scouting phase of all Go Programs, including actively managing the rolling database of startup applicationsExecute content creation, outreach, and applicant tracking for the recruitment of startup participants, incorporating principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion to build a diverse pipeline of applicantsResearch and examine the startup ecosystem to engage entrepreneurs for participation in relevant Greentown Go program(s)Cross-Team Collaboration
Collaborate with Greentown’s Marketing and Events teams in support of program deliverables, from program publicity to in-person and hybrid program eventsCollaborate with Greentown’s Startup Success team to deliver a startup experience that is inclusive and provides cohort startups maximum access to Greentown Labs benefits and resourcesGive hands-on support to participating startups and corporate partners as a third-party partner in partnership creation and successWho You Are
You are an organized, proactive operator with a real interest in climatetech and the work of helping startups and corporate partners build together. You are:
An adaptable, fast-paced problem-solver with an eye for spotting gaps and building new processes or systems that help a team run betterOrganized and detail-oriented, with the ability to juggle multiple workstreams and stakeholders without dropping the ballA strong written and verbal communicator who adjusts tone naturally across startup founders, corporate partners, and internal teammatesCurious about the climatetech ecosystem and eager to learn the stories of the startups, corporates, and policymakers driving the energy transitionCollaborative and proactive, with a can-do attitude and a real eagerness to learnQualifications
Experience: 1–3 years in program coordination, partnerships, operations, events, or a related field (entry-level candidates with relevant internship or leadership experience welcome)Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experienceCommunication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; experience with stakeholder management or customer service a plusOrganization: Strong project management and organizational skills; experience with applicant tracking, CRMs, program management, or workflow tools a plusTechnical: Familiarity with tools like Google Drive, Slack, Asana, Airtable, Zoom, Salesforce, MixMax, FormAssembly, or Luma a plus; basic graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe, or similar) a plusPreferred: Familiarity with climatetech, cleantech, startup ecosystems, or partnership accelerator programsWhat Success Looks Like
In your first 6–12 months, you will have:
Established a consistent program operations cadence across multiple concurrent Greentown Go programs, with strong follow-through on stakeholder commitmentsOwned the rolling applicant database for Go recruitment and helped build a measurably stronger, more diverse pipeline of climatetech startup applicantsContributed to at least one process improvement or new workflow that made the Go team operate more smoothlyBuilt trusted working relationships with cohort startups, corporate partners, and internal collaborators across Startup Success, Marketing, and EventsGeneral Physical Demands

Greentown staff generally operate on a hybrid schedule, with expectations to be on-site at Greentown’s incubator in Somerville, MA at least three days per week, with the option to work remotely two days per week. Occasional evening work will be expected to support and capture content at events. Our standard business hours are 9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
