About the RoleThe Site Assistant supports the day-to-day operations of active construction projects through a combination of general labor, site coordination, deliveries and logistics. This is a hands-on field role intended for someone who can operate independently, communicate effectively with field teams, and help maintain organized, safe, and efficient job sites.
This role serves as a key support position to Superintendents and Project Managers and provides general labor on construction job sites. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, safety-minded, and comfortable balancing physical construction work with driving, pick ups/deliveries and communication responsibilities.
This role will primarily support projects in the Pacific Palisades with future projects potentially including Beverly Hills and surrounding areas. A valid California driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation are required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of physical construction and labor tasks in support of active job sites.
- Assist with job site setup, protection, organization, and cleanup.
- Perform demolition, digging, lifting, carrying, material staging, and other labor-intensive construction activities.
- Lift and move materials and equipment weighing up to 80 pounds.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively, including drills, saws, Sawzalls, Skilsaws, compactors, mixers, and similar equipment.
- Support small installations, punch work, and field adjustments.
- Assist with removal and disposal of construction debris and trash.
- Assist specialty crews and subcontractors as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness of company vehicles and job site storage areas.
- Help track tools, equipment, rentals, and materials between sites.
- Communicate regarding delivery timing, material shortages, or field logistics concerns.
- Assist in maintaining organized, safe, and efficient work environments across multiple job sites.
- Perform regular pickups and deliveries of tools, materials, hardware, equipment, and supplies between job sites, vendors, warehouses, and offices.
- Load, unload, secure, and transport materials safely and efficiently.

Typical Working Conditions
Work performed in a combination of an office and rare field environment.
