Patient Representative – The Friendly Face of Our Practice
As a Patient Representative in our practice, you’ll play a vital role in creating a welcoming, supportive experience for every patient. You’ll often be the first touchpoint for families, coordinating care, and ensuring each visit feels seamless.

Schedule - 28 hours per week, with rotating Saturdays

Our experienced and compassionate team provides personalized care for every stage of childhood - from those very first newborn visits all the way through young adulthood. GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Patient Representative is the first point of contact for patients, families and many other sources.
Works under the direct supervision of the Practice Manager.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Answers phones, schedules appointments and verifies patient information.
- Completes check-in, check-out and end of day processing.
- Enters charges; collects and posts payments.
- Collects patient balances.
- Copies medical records.
- Scans incoming patient records/reports.
- Completes end of day process.
- Processes medical records requests.
- Demonstrates and supports PediaTrust Core Values.
ADDITIONAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Performs digital health workflows and initiatives.
- Performs complete referral authorizations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Education, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- High School diploma required
- Ability to multitask
- Must be detail oriented
- Good communication skills and customer service skills
- General computer knowledge
- Problem-solving skills
- Team player
Required Length & Type of Experience:
- 2 years of customer service experience
- Office based work experience preferred
