Job Description
Wash Bay Driver
Coach Canada is currently seeking reliable and motivated Wash Bay Drivers / Shunters to join our Maintenance Team. This position plays an important role in supporting daily operations by ensuring buses are safely moved throughout the facility, cleaned to Company standards, and prepared for service.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience in the transportation industry and develop their skills while working in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications- Class DZ or AZ licence.
- Clean driver's abstract.
- Reliable, dependable, and safety-focused.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Available to work a variety of shifts, including days, afternoons, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.
- Previous commercial vehicle, transportation, or cleaning experience is considered an asset.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Safely move and position buses throughout the yard, maintenance facility, fueling area, and wash bay.
- Perform interior and exterior cleaning of motorcoaches and charter vehicles to Company standards.
- Complete fueling, fluid checks, and basic servicing duties as assigned.
- Conduct visual inspections and report vehicle damage, defects, safety concerns, or maintenance issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment within the wash bay, yard, and maintenance areas.
- Follow all Company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
- Support operational requirements during peak periods and assist with additional facility and fleet-related duties as assigned.
- Work collaboratively with maintenance, operations, and dispatch teams to ensure vehicles are service-ready.
Safety-Sensitive Position
This is a safety-sensitive position. Successful candidates must comply with all Company safety requirements, including participation in the Company's Drug and Alcohol Testing Program in accordance with the applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement and Company policies.
