EEC Solutions is looking for a Safety and Airborne Representative - JECC J3 for an upcoming contract opportunity.
Job Description:
a. Summary of Responsibilities:
This position provides direct oversight of the JECC Safety and Occupational Health (SOH) Program and secondary oversight of the JCSE Airborne Program, serving as principal advisor to command leadership on safety compliance, risk management, and airborne operational readiness.
b. Essential Duties and Responsibilities This position:
● Serves as principal advisor to the command on safety and occupational health matters; support the headquarters SOH Program IAW DoD/joint/service regulations.
● Manages the Unit Safety Officer (USO) additional-duty safety personnel program, including guidance, training, and oversight.
● Develops and implement a comprehensive safety training program (foundational, supervisory, and hazard-specific topics) IAW DoWI 6055.01.
● Provides continuous oversight of the JCSE Airborne Program as JECC headquarters representative; advise leadership on program status, health, and viability.
● Manages the command's airborne malfunction and incident reporting program IAW AR 59-4; serve as primary technical advisor on airdrop malfunction investigations.
● Assists in validating the JECC JMD for Paid Parachutist Positions via formal workload analysis; support Special Pay Program (Hazardous Duty Incentive Pay) compliance inspections.
c. Minimum Qualifications:
* Required Education: Undergraduate degree preferred.
* Required Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in military airborne operations and 5 years' experience managing a comprehensive safety program in a military or DoD environment.
* Required Certifications/Licenses: Graduate of the U.S. Army Jumpmaster Course (active); completion of a service safety officer course (e.g., Army USOC, Marine Corps GSM, Navy NAVOSH, or Air Force Risk Management/SST) or equivalent. Certified Safety Professional (CSP) from BCSP highly desired.
* This position requires an active Secret security clearance. Must be possessed and maintained for the duration of the contract.
* Preferred Qualifications: CSP certification; experience in a joint/multinational headquarters; knowledge of JP 3-18, JP 3-16, FM 3-99, ATP 4-48, DAFMAN 13-217, AFDP 3-36.
