This is a fully remote opportunity within a national Life & Disability team, supporting the smooth administration of disability and life insurance services. You’ll provide accurate, timely support to internal teams, clients, claimants, vendors, and other stakeholders. The role combines administrative coordination, claims support, privacy-sensitive document handling, and customer service. You’ll work across multiple digital systems and shared inboxes while managing competing priorities and deadlines. Attention to detail and sound judgment will be essential when handling confidential information and resolving discrepancies. It’s an opportunity to build your expertise in a collaborative, technology-enabled environment while contributing to a high-quality client experience.

Accountabilities:
  • Process access and file-copy requests by reviewing documentation, consent forms, and authorization requirements to ensure information is released appropriately.
  • Review and redact third-party information carefully to protect confidential data and comply with privacy requirements.
  • Monitor and respond to inquiries received through multiple shared email inboxes, ensuring timely and professional communication.
  • Complete claim-related follow-ups, administrative activities, data entry, and updates within claims management systems.
  • Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently while maintaining appropriate records and documentation.
  • Prepare, distribute, print, and mail correspondence to claimants, clients, and other stakeholders while following established privacy protocols.
  • Coordinate and schedule calls with Medical Consultants and support related administrative activities.
  • Assist with onboarding new clients, including file transfers, documentation, and administrative coordination.
  • Investigate discrepancies, take ownership of issues, and work collaboratively to drive them through to resolution.
  • Manage multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining accuracy, service quality, and confidentiality.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education, such as a college diploma or university degree.
  • Professional fluency in both English and French is required, including the ability to support clients across multiple Canadian provinces.
  • Previous experience in administration or customer service; experience within insurance, banking, claims, or financial services is an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail and a consistent commitment to accuracy when handling sensitive information and administrative processes.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel, as well as Adobe applications and other digital tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate discrepancies and identify practical solutions.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities, with the capacity to manage several tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused and professional approach.
  • Comfort working with technology and the ability to learn new systems, applications, and digital workflows quickly.
  • A proactive mindset, strong sense of ownership, and ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a broader team.
Benefits
  • Remote work from Canada, with the role available across multiple provinces.
  • Competitive salary range of approximately $41,400–$69,000 CAD, depending on location, qualifications, experience, education, and other job-related factors.
  • Opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn performance-based incentive compensation.
  • Comprehensive customizable benefits for eligible employees, including health, dental, vision, mental health, disability, life, and AD&D insurance.
  • Access to wellness programs and employee and family assistance resources.
  • Retirement savings opportunities, including pension plans and employer-matching programs, where eligible.
  • Access to financial education, counseling, and global share ownership opportunities with employer matching contributions, where applicable.
  • Generous paid time off, including vacation, holidays, personal and sick days, as well as statutory leaves.
  • A flexible, inclusive environment focused on employee well-being, learning, and career development.
  • The opportunity to grow within a global organization while contributing to meaningful customer and client outcomes.
