Responsibilities

Campus Director of Facilities for assigned Kettering Health location. Responsible for all issues relating to the maintenance, management and sustainability of those facilities, infrastructure and plant resources. Manages all aspects of facilities maintenance as well as relationships with outsourced contractors to ensure efficient day-to-day operations. Serves as primary decision maker in prioritizing jobs and allocating staffing and resources to support total facility management. Reports to the campus COO. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education
Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Construction Management, Engineering or a closely related field, or a nationally accredited apprenticeship program completion.
Master’s Degree preferred
CHFM preferred
Minimum Work Experience
Minimum 7 years in Facilities management with experience in budget oversight, contracted services oversight, personnel management and long-term planning.Drag Edit Delete
Required Licenses
[Ohio, United States] Other
ASHE (American Society for Healthcare Engineering) member
ICS (Incident Command System) 100, 200, 700 course completions within the first year.
Required Skills
• Leadership/management skills
• Knowledge of State and local fire codes
• Comprehensive knowledge of Life Safety Code and application to HFAP Chapters 11 & 13 standards
• Ability to read blueprints and specs for construction projects
• Ability to work with web-based software
• Able to manage multiple projects and teams at one time
