Job Description

Head of Product - Engagement

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Head of Product - Engagement based in the United States.

This is a senior product leadership opportunity focused on shaping the strategy and evolution of a connected Engagement Suite.
You will bring together loyalty, customer engagement, customer data, and digital experience capabilities into a coherent product vision.
The role combines strategic product leadership with hands-on influence across product, engineering, commercial, and customer-facing teams.
A major focus will be converging multiple products onto a shared platform to improve customer experiences and reduce duplicated functionality.
You will also define and advance an AI strategy, identifying opportunities to create intelligent experiences with measurable customer and commercial value.
The environment is complex and highly collaborative, requiring evidence-led decisions, strong stakeholder leadership, and a balance between immediate priorities and long-term opportunities.
This role offers significant influence over product direction, platform strategy, and the future of AI-enabled customer engagement.

Accountabilities
  • Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Engagement Suite, establishing a connected direction across loyalty, customer engagement, customer data, and digital experiences.
  • Lead the convergence of multiple products onto a shared platform, identifying opportunities to simplify the portfolio, improve customer experiences, and eliminate duplicated functionality.
  • Define and evolve the AI product strategy, guiding teams toward AI-powered experiences that create measurable value for customers and the business.
  • Translate customer needs, market insights, data, and commercial performance into clear product priorities and investment decisions.
  • Partner closely with product, engineering, commercial, and customer-facing teams to align stakeholders, influence product direction, and drive successful execution.
  • Balance short-term delivery priorities with longer-term product opportunities and strategic platform investments.
  • Build alignment across multiple product areas and stakeholder groups around a shared vision, outcomes, and roadmap.
  • Establish a customer- and evidence-led product culture that emphasizes meaningful outcomes rather than activity or feature delivery.
  • Support the adoption of modern product operating models and emerging technologies across relevant product teams and markets.
  • Help identify opportunities where AI and evolving technologies can improve customer experiences, product development, operational performance, and commercial results.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of product management experience, including at least 4 years in senior product leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to own product vision, strategy, roadmaps, and prioritization across complex product portfolios.
  • Experience in areas such as loyalty, CRM, marketing technology, payments, hospitality, retail software, or closely related customer-engagement domains.
  • Strong commercial acumen and experience using customer insights, data, and business performance metrics to inform product strategy and investment decisions.
  • Proven experience leading product convergence, platform strategies, or the integration of multiple products and capabilities.
  • Experience working with AI-enabled products and a strong understanding of how emerging AI technologies can create meaningful customer and business outcomes.
  • Familiarity with modern product operating models and experience leading cross-functional teams across multiple functions and/or geographic markets.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to create alignment among senior leaders with different priorities.
  • Strong strategic thinking and decision-making skills, combined with the ability to bring clarity to complex environments.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a demonstrated ability to connect product decisions to measurable outcomes.
  • Comfortable balancing long-term strategic thinking with the practical demands of execution and delivery.
  • Collaborative, curious, commercially minded leadership style with the ability to inspire teams around a shared product vision.
Benefits
  • Base salary of $230,000–$250,000 USD.
  • 20% bonus opportunity.
  • 22 days of paid time off.
  • 11 company-paid holidays.
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • 5% 401(k) company match.
  • Additional benefits and flexible options available to support employee needs.
  • Home-based/remote working arrangement in the United States.
  • Opportunities for career development, progression, and accelerated professional growth.
  • Supportive environment focused on collaboration, inclusion, innovation, and continuous learning.
  • Opportunity to influence a significant product portfolio and shape the adoption of AI-enabled customer experiences.
  • Exposure to cross-functional and international teams within a global business software environment.
