Head of Marketing

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Head of Marketing based in United States.

This role offers the opportunity to build and lead a modern marketing organization within a growing professional services environment.
You will define and execute an integrated marketing strategy focused on brand growth, demand generation, and measurable business impact.
Working closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams, you will shape market positioning and support revenue growth initiatives.
The position combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution, requiring a marketing leader who can scale processes while driving immediate results.
You will modernize marketing capabilities through digital innovation, analytics, automation, and AI-powered approaches.

Accountabilities:
  • Develop and execute an integrated marketing strategy aligned with organizational growth objectives, business priorities, and market opportunities.
  • Lead annual marketing planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance measurement while establishing clear KPIs and reporting frameworks.
  • Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team while identifying opportunities to expand capabilities and improve operational efficiency.
  • Serve as a strategic marketing advisor to executive leadership and provide insights that support business growth and competitive positioning.
  • Strengthen brand strategy, messaging, and market presence across service offerings and customer segments.
  • Oversee corporate communications, thought leadership, public relations initiatives, and executive visibility programs.
  • Develop compelling content strategies that showcase expertise, build trust, and differentiate offerings in the marketplace.
  • Create and optimize demand generation programs across digital channels, including website, SEO, paid media, email marketing, webinars, social media, and marketing automation.
  • Use analytics and performance data to improve campaign effectiveness, customer engagement, conversion rates, and marketing ROI.
  • Partner with business development teams to support pipeline growth through sales enablement materials, case studies, presentations, proposals, and customer success stories.
  • Develop account-based marketing strategies and support industry events, conferences, webinars, and client engagement initiatives.
  • Create go-to-market strategies for new services, technology solutions, and business initiatives.
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer insights gathering to identify growth opportunities and strengthen positioning.
  • Modernize marketing operations by leveraging AI, automation, and emerging technologies to improve scalability and effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive marketing experience, including leadership responsibility for teams, strategies, and business initiatives.
  • Proven experience leading B2B marketing efforts within professional services, legal services, technology, SaaS, healthcare, financial services, or other consultative industries.
  • Demonstrated success developing demand generation strategies that contribute to measurable revenue growth and business outcomes.
  • Strong background in brand strategy, digital marketing, content marketing, communications, and integrated campaign execution.
  • Experience managing marketing budgets, external agencies, vendors, and strategic partnerships.
  • Strong understanding of marketing analytics, CRM platforms, marketing automation tools, and performance reporting.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with executive stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams and collaborate effectively with sales, operations, product, and recruiting functions.
  • Hands-on leadership approach with the ability to balance strategic planning with operational execution.
  • Experience supporting sales organizations, business development teams, or complex B2B customer journeys is preferred.
  • Familiarity with platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Google Analytics, SEM tools, and marketing automation technologies is preferred.
  • Experience leading organizational growth, rebranding initiatives, digital transformation, or marketing modernization efforts is a plus.
  • Experience marketing to legal organizations, corporate departments, insurance providers, or government entities is preferred.
