SITTER

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
-
Under the supervision of an RN, provides close observation of patients at risk for falls and those patients placed on suicidal/homicidal precautions who are not restrained.

QUALIFICATIONS
-
Professional/Educational
-
At least 17 years of age.
-
Certified by the American Heart Association in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) preferred.
-
DCFS Mandated Reporter Certificate of Completion required.
-
Crisis Prevention Intervention Certification (CPI) preferred
-
Management Of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) training preferred.

Personal
-
Evidence of good health, grooming and professional conduct.

Desire and ability to cooperate with and/or under the direction of others.

Possesses a sense of responsibility, initiative and honesty.

Ability to follow directions accurately.

Appreciation of and desire to be a part of a health care team dedicated to providing patients optimal care.

Actual pay will be determined by qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
