The Senior Account Executive will be responsible for driving new business growth by managing end-to-end sales activities and building strong customer relationships. The role requires a proactive approach to identifying opportunities, delivering value-driven sales conversations, and consistently achieving revenue targets.
- Manage the complete SMB SaaS sales cycle, including prospecting, qualification, product demonstrations, negotiation, and closing.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing customers to generate ongoing sales opportunities.
- Identify key stakeholders and decision-makers within target organizations and develop effective outreach strategies.
- Conduct consultative sales presentations and product demonstrations tailored to customer needs and business challenges.
- Consistently achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives.
- Develop a deep understanding of customer requirements and position solutions effectively to address compliance and operational challenges.
- Maintain accurate sales activity tracking, forecasting, and pipeline management through CRM and sales enablement tools.
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve sales processes, customer experience, and business growth initiatives.
The ideal candidate is a motivated sales professional with experience selling SaaS solutions to SMB customers. They should combine strong prospecting abilities, consultative selling expertise, and a proven record of achieving sales goals in competitive environments.
- 2–5 years of successful experience as an Account Executive in SMB SaaS sales, with a demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding quotas.
- Proven ability to generate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, lead development, and relationship building.
- Strong consultative selling skills with experience uncovering customer needs and presenting tailored solutions.
- Familiarity with MEDDICC or similar sales methodologies for managing structured sales processes.
- Experience managing multiple customer relationships in fast-paced environments with short sales cycles.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience using CRM platforms and sales tools such as HubSpot, Microsoft Office, and sales productivity solutions.
- Ability to adapt quickly, learn new technologies, and thrive in a changing growth environment.
- Preferred experience selling compliance, regulatory, food & beverage, healthcare, or life sciences solutions.
- Knowledge of food industry regulations, including FSVP compliance, is a plus.
- Additional language skills, particularly Spanish, are advantageous.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred.
