Senior Analyst, Insights & Paid Media

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Analyst, Insights & Paid Media based in United States.

We are seeking a strategic and data-driven professional to strengthen paid media measurement, optimization, and performance insights across a growing marketing organization.
This role plays a key part in transforming campaign data into actionable recommendations that improve customer acquisition, conversion, and return on investment.
The position combines deep analytical expertise with hands-on experience across paid search, paid social, display, attribution, and full-funnel measurement.
You will help shape smarter media investment decisions by building scalable reporting frameworks, testing strategies, and optimization models.
Working closely with marketing, analytics, data science, and revenue teams, you will translate complex data into clear business outcomes.

Accountabilities:

The Senior Analyst, Insights & Paid Media will own the analysis, measurement, and optimization processes that enable effective paid media investments. This role requires strong analytical thinking, marketing expertise, and the ability to collaborate across multiple teams to deliver actionable insights.

  • Own performance reporting and analysis across paid media channels, including paid search, paid social, display, video, and programmatic campaigns.
  • Analyze key performance indicators such as CTR, CPC, CPA, conversion rates, ROAS, and pacing to identify trends, opportunities, and optimization areas.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to improve campaign performance, budget allocation, bidding strategies, and channel efficiency.
  • Develop performance projections and investment recommendations across campaigns, markets, channels, and product lines.
  • Support tracking, tagging, pixel implementation, and measurement quality assurance to maintain accurate reporting.
  • Analyze full-funnel media performance by connecting advertising investments to pipeline impact, revenue contribution, and business outcomes.
  • Support attribution, media mix analysis, and incrementality testing to evaluate campaign effectiveness.
  • Build and maintain dashboards, reporting frameworks, and measurement solutions that communicate marketing impact.
  • Translate business questions into structured analyses, testing plans, and clear recommendations for stakeholders.
  • Design and evaluate A/B tests, audience experiments, creative tests, and channel experiments using reliable measurement methodologies.
  • Identify and implement AI-enabled opportunities that improve media optimization, audience targeting, automated reporting, and insight generation.
  • Collaborate with Analytics, Data Science, Marketing Operations, Creative, Product Marketing, and Revenue teams to promote data-driven decision-making.
  • Educate teams on measurement best practices, testing methodologies, and effective interpretation of performance insights.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate combines advanced analytical capabilities, paid media expertise, and strong communication skills to influence marketing strategy and improve business performance.

  • 8+ years of experience in paid media, performance marketing, digital marketing analytics, marketing analytics, or related fields.
  • Strong experience managing and analyzing paid media campaigns across channels such as paid search, paid social, display, video, and programmatic advertising.
  • Advanced knowledge of advertising platforms including Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, Meta Business Manager, LinkedIn, and DSP platforms.
  • Strong understanding of media measurement concepts including CPA, ROAS, attribution, incrementality, statistical significance, and experimentation.
  • Experience creating dashboards and reports using analytics and visualization tools such as Google Analytics, Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or advanced Excel.
  • Ability to translate complex business questions into structured analyses, hypotheses, and actionable recommendations.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present insights clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working with AI-enabled marketing tools, automated bidding solutions, predictive audiences, or AI-driven optimization capabilities.
  • Familiarity with SQL, Python, or R for data extraction and analysis is preferred.
  • Experience with media mix modeling, multi-touch attribution, or incrementality testing is preferred.
  • Background in B2B SaaS, technology, fintech, compliance, enterprise software, or similar industries is a plus.
  • Experience building measurement frameworks, testing playbooks, documentation, or training programs is beneficial.
  • Relevant certifications such as Google Ads, Google Analytics, or Meta Blueprint are preferred.
