BUFF is a design-led, hygiene-first nail studio known for calm energy, technical excellence, and beautifully consistent results. We’re looking for an experienced Nail Artist to join our Fitzroy studio and help us deliver exceptional nail care without compromising standards.

About you

You’re technically confident, detail-oriented, and take real pride in your work. You move with pace, but never rush quality. You’re warm with clients, professional with your team, and you care deeply about nail health, not just how things look on the day. This is a hands-on senior position for someone with exceptional technical skills, a strong understanding of fingernail, toenail and foot health, and the ability to deliver consistently premium services in a busy professional salon.

You bring:

• Strong manicure and pedicure prep and shaping skills

• Confident gel polish application and nail art

• Experienced with detailed e-file work and BIAB

• A genuine interest in nail health, longevity, and client education - strong knowledge base on nail anatomy, health and care a must.

• Experienced in extensions, polygel or hard gel.

Experience

• Qualified and/or formally trained

• Ideally 4+ years salon experience

• Delivering high-quality nail services aligned with BUFF standards

• Guiding clients toward the right services and aftercare

• Maintaining a clean, hygienic and beautifully run studio

• Building long-term client relationships, not one-off bookings

• Supporting team goals and studio performance

• Using our booking and POS systems confidently
