Senior Nail Artist in Mornington, Victoria at Buff Nail Studios

We are currently seeking an experienced Nail Artists to help us deliver exceptional customer service and create beautiful, healthy nails at our busy Mornington studio. You need a bit of hustle, a sunny disposition, a dash of perfectionism and a deep in your soul love of beautifully manicured nails.

You need to know how to perfectly shape and prep a nail for a long lasting manicure (and pedicure), be confident in gel polish application and nail art designs plus be confident with detailed e-file cuticle prep and BIAB application (an added plus if you are experienced in Extensions, Polygel & Hard Gel but we also offer upskilling in these)

Be a clear and confident communicator - we like to build relationships with our clients and educate them on our processes and their nail health.

Qualified and/or have undertaken previous training

Minimum 2+ years experience

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and provide assistance throughout their in-studio experience.

• Display a strong product knowledge and guide customers in making the right service choice and providing after-care advice.

• Collaborate with the team on maintaining a clean, hygienic salon environment.

• Process sales transactions and bookings, utilising our POS system.

• Proactively engage with customers to build lasting relationships and foster loyalty.

• Stay up to date with product information, promotions, and any changes to in-store policies.

• Collaborate with the team to achieve targets and salon goals, contributing to the overall success of the salon.

Requirements:

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

• You need to know how to perfectly shape and prep a nail for a long lasting manicure (and pedicure)

• Confident in gel polish application, builder gel (BIAB) application and basic nail art designs

• Experience working with an e-File

• An added plus if you are experienced in Nail Extensions, Polygel or Hard Gel

• Be a clear and confident communicator - we like to build relationships with our clients and educate them on our processes and their nail health.

• Two or more years experience in the industry

• Ability to work well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

• Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
