Job Description
Pulmonologist / Sleep Medicine Physician
Southwest Missouri has a defined need for pulmonary and sleep medicine — and CMH has already built the infrastructure to support it. You will be joining an established Pulmonologist/Sleep practice that combines a largely outpatient schedule, active Critical Care service, with busy procedure volume, alongside the Missouri Sleep Institute. If you want a practice with real clinical breadth and a region that genuinely needs your expertise, this is worth a close look.
Practice highlights
- Traditional practice – outpatient clinic, ICU Coverage with dedicated procedure days
- Missouri Sleep Institute affiliation — sleep study and sleep medicine scope
- Joining 3 established Pulmonologists
- 1:4 call schedule
- EMR: Meditech Expanse with Suki AI documentation support
- Clinic located in a shared parking lot with newly built hospital tower in April 2026
- A new hospital based Endoscopy suite for Pulmonology will be completed by May 2027.

Requirements
- MD or DO
- BC/BE in IM
- Missouri medical license or eligibility
- Fellowship training in Pulmonary/Critical Care and/or Sleep Medicine
