The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for driving successful project delivery by applying structured methodologies, managing resources, and ensuring alignment between business objectives and technology solutions. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to manage complex initiatives and deliver measurable outcomes.
- Provide strategic direction and leadership to project teams, ensuring resources are effectively coordinated and project objectives are achieved.
- Define project scope, gather requirements, and translate business goals into actionable delivery plans.
- Develop and manage detailed project schedules, budgets, milestones, dependencies, and resource plans.
- Monitor project performance, track progress, and provide regular updates to stakeholders, including executive leadership.
- Identify project risks, maintain RAID logs, and lead mitigation planning to minimize potential impacts.
- Partner with business stakeholders and technical teams to oversee solution design, implementation, testing, and deployment activities.
- Ensure compliance with established project governance frameworks, methodologies, quality standards, and documentation requirements.
- Manage organizational change activities by supporting adoption strategies and ensuring successful transition into new processes or technologies.
- Lead communication across cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment among business users, developers, analysts, and leadership.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to optimize project delivery practices and operational effectiveness.
The ideal candidate brings extensive experience managing enterprise technology projects, strong business acumen, and the ability to lead complex initiatives across diverse teams. Candidates should demonstrate expertise in project management methodologies, stakeholder engagement, and technology-driven transformation.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education in a related field, combined with at least 8 years of relevant professional experience.
- Minimum of 8 years of project management experience involving enterprise technology platforms, infrastructure, software development, or business application implementations.
- PMP certification strongly preferred.
- Proven experience managing large-scale technology projects and delivering solutions within complex organizational environments.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, including Waterfall, Agile, and hybrid approaches.
- Experience creating detailed dependency-based project schedules and managing multiple project priorities simultaneously.
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office, or similar PPM platforms.
- Experience with enterprise technology solutions, ERP implementations, or healthcare technology projects is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of organizational change management principles and experience developing change adoption plans.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, leadership, and relationship-building skills across all organizational levels.
- Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, solve complex problems, and consistently deliver against deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail, adaptability, and a commitment to collaboration, integrity, and continuous improvement.
