The Systems Administrator/Engineer II performs all systems integration work, system management and configuration, operation, testing, and reset of the MACC-TTE virtual and physical environments. This role configures and deploys virtual and physical servers, workstations, and small processor-controlled devices, while actively supporting information assurance (IA) requirements.
- Responsible for installing, configuring, upgrading, patching, troubleshooting, and maintaining (hardware, software, and server) configurations to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability.Manage accounts, firewalls, access controls, passwords, account creations, and conduct administration.Provide routine automation, maintain security policies, train, or offer technical support.Maintain the platform’s uptime, performance, resources, and availability.Maintain upkeep, configuration, security of the computers, and reliable operation of computer systems.Create automation scripts using Bash, Python, or Ansible to streamline processes.Build, configure, and maintain virtual environments.
