Position Overview
Triad Financial Services is a leading provider of financial services and solutions, serving clients nationwide. We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Loan Office Assistant to join our growing team.
The Loan Officer Assistant (LOA) / Junior Loan Officer provides administrative, operational, and sales support to Loan Officers throughout the loan origination process. This role assists with pipeline management, coordinates documentation, communicates with borrowers and clients and supports efficient customer experience from application through closing.
This position also serves as a developmental opportunity for individuals seeking to advance into a Loan Officer role while supporting production goals and maintaining compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Essential Functions:
Pipeline Management Support
- Assist Loan Officers with managing active loan pipelines to ensure timely progression through the origination process.
- Coordinate with Processing, Underwriting, Closing, Funding, and other internal teams to facilitate loan movement as needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely pipeline notes within applicable systems.
Borrower and Client Communication
- Serve as a backup point of contact for routine client and borrower inquiries and status updates.
- Contact borrowers to obtain missing documents, signatures, and information.
- Communicate loan status updates while adhering to regulatory and licensing requirements.
Clerical and Administrative Support
- Manage incoming email, documents, and routine correspondence.
- Prepare disclosure packages and supporting documents as permitted by company policy and applicable licensing requirements.
- Assist with the completion of clerical fields within applicable systems.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
- Previous experience in mortgage lending, consumer lending, banking, sales support, administration, or customer service preferred.
- Working knowledge of mortgage or consumer lending processes and documentation.
- Familiarity with loan origination systems, CRM platforms, and electronic document tools.
- NMLS licensing, or the ability to obtain applicable licensing, as required.
- Experience as a Loan Officer Assistant, Loan Coordinator, Processor, or lending support professional.
- Bi-Lingual
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn loan origination, CRM, and document management systems.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
Physical Demand:
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
