Job Description
Summary:
Testing and troubleshooting product, maintaining and repairing test systems/equipment to ensure production quality standards are meet in an electronic manufacturing environment.
Essential Functions:

- Read and interpret assembly and test instructions, engineering prints, and schematics
- Set up and operate test equipment
- Test electronic units using prescribed test procedures
- Utilize a variety of diagnostic tools to troubleshoot to component level (voltmeter and oscilloscope)
- Interpret and record test results
- Recognize and isolate test equipment failures with assistance
- Perform routine maintenance on general test systems
- Must be able to work with engineering and test department to assemble equipment based on sketches, verbal information, and their own judgment
Competencies:
- Proficiency in troubleshooting PC Boards and electro-mechanical assemblies to component level
- Familiarity with automatic test equipment instrumentation and programming techniques
- Strong communication skills required to interface with engineers and process design teams
- Familiarity with statistical process controls and ISO 9001 and 13485 standards
- Ability to effectively coordinate and participate in test department training activities
Physical demands:

successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the
employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing,
walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching and climbing throughout the day. The employee must
frequently lift and/or move items up to 25 pounds and occasionally up 50 pounds. Specific vision
abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth
perception and ability to adjust focus.
Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Hours may vary depending on company needs. Overtime is as needed.
Required Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED
Associates degree in electronic engineering or related field
Ability to read and write English, follow verbal instructions and use simple math
Operate a computer and use basic programs (MS Office, Excel, Word, etc.)
Preferred Education and Experience:
Two or more years of experience in an electronics manufacturing environment
Familiarity with software programs used in this job
