Position Overview: As a General Manager, you will be the primary point of contact to oversee customer service/counter sales, fleet management, facilities management, general administration and sales. The General Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the customer service team to ensure excellent service delivery and customer satisfaction. You will oversee daily operations, set performance goals, implement strategies to improve customer service processes, and cultivate a positive working environment for the team.
Responsibilities:
• Hire and schedule employees for store and warehouse operations.
• Manage time and attendance track and report hours for payroll.
• Implement strategies that drive sales and customer engagement.
• Train new hires on warehouse protocols, safety standards, and equipment usage.
• Supervise all warehouse personnel to ensure smooth operations.
• Oversee inventory control by using company systems to track stock levels, ensure accuracy, and reduce discrepancies.
• Handle inventory management, including receiving, tracking, and proper storage of products.
• Coordinate and oversee operations across all warehouse departments (drivers, receiving, shipping).
• Enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment.
• Organize and manage order scheduling and fulfillment across all company locations.
• Facilitate necessary building repairs and certifications (e.g., elevator, fire, and bay door inspections).
• Liaise with all company locations to address issues related to stock orders and discrepancies with individual items pulled from the warehouse.
Customer Service/Counter Sales
• Oversee daily operations of the customer service department, including handling escalated customer issues, managing schedules, and ensuring adequate staffing levels.
Fleet Management
• Oversee the daily operations of the fleet, including vehicle maintenance, scheduling, and dispatching.
• Tracking maintenance schedules
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure vehicles are in good working condition and comply with safety regulations.

Facilities Management
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the facility.
• Manage space allocation and utilization effectively.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors and service providers.
Administration
• Assisting AR to collect payments from customers
• Processing customer payments and new customer applications
Sales
• Assist in answering phone sales calls
• Help Counter Sales with assisting customers
• Work closely with Outside Sales team with vetting new customers
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in the overall operations of facilities, fleet management, inside sales, telemarketing, or customer service roles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers.
• Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving sales targets and delivering quality customer service.
• Excellent organizational skills and communication skills.
