General Laborer in Cocoa, Florida at Diamondback Industrial Finishes

JOB TITLE: GENERAL LABORER

JOB SUMMARY

This role is primarily responsible for general daily labor as needed. Main tasks include loading and unloading of vehicles and daily maintenance of machines while offering support to meet the production schedule. The candidate should be dependable, hardworking, and an effective communicator.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs from floor level
• Ability to carry up to 50lbs with both hands
• Forklift experience
• 2+ years of machine operation experience

CORE DUTIES

• Stand and walk continuously for 10 hours, rarely sitting
• Moving objects using forklifts and carts
• Unload materials from trucks
• Sweep floors
• Perform daily machine maintenance
• Load machines with parts
• Occasionally use the hand blast machine
• Other duties as assigned

HOURS

• 1st shift position
• Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
• Friday - overtime as needed

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Candidates that accept an offer of employment will be required to pass a background and drug screen. Candidates must also meet ATF requirements for firearm possession.
