Drafter in Union Grove, Wisconsin at HySafe

HySafe is seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join as a Drafter. This key role will support the operations and sales function of the company by providing quality CAD products. Excellent advancement opportunity and will report to the Construction Leader.

WHAT THE ROLE DOES:

• Create detailed manufacturing, application and layout drawings using CAD products and models, for use in fall protection applications
• Work with customers to get drawings approved, revised and approved as needed
• Research and provide product solutions and application support to end-users?
• Assist in production of manuals, internal drawings review and specification sheets
• Develop a working knowledge of the applicable industry standards
• Create Bill of Materials and gather quotes for fabrications
• Assist with shipping and receiving
• Assist in the creation and expansion of the Construction and Engineering teams' capabilities
• At times required to travel or attend site visits

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in technical discipline or equivalent experience required
• Basic AutoCAD experience required
• 1+ years of experience with SolidWorks, Bluebeam, Adobe InDesign and Photoshop a plus
• 1+ years of experience in manufacturing environment preferred, with construction industry exposure a plus
• Strong mechanical mindset with firm grasp of product development and project management
• Growth and entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for product development
• Highest standards of accuracy and precision in drafting, calculation, detailing and work product
• Comfortable interacting professionally with vendors, sales team, operations and customers
