Overview

New Hope Services (NHS) is proudly celebrating 65 years of service to Southern Indiana and our extended service area. Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day operations and coordination of employment services
  • Responsible for the supervision of Employment Consultants and Job Coach including hiring, training, service delivery, performance monitoring, and evaluation
  • Assure that all program employees are adequately trained and qualified to provide efficient and effective services
  • Schedule and supervise employment services staff in a manner that results in efficient delivery of services and that meets consumer needs

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain client records, billing, and documentation in compliance with agency and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate client meetings, referrals, admissions, exits, and related activities.
  • Deliver services and support plans while ensuring client health, safety, and well-being.
  • Oversee billing, documentation, budgeting, and fiscal management.
  • Build and maintain community partnerships, including Vocational Rehabilitation.
  • Manage a caseload and support staff to ensure efficient program operations.
  • Respond to client, staff, and program needs, including emergencies.
  • Participate in committees, training, and organizational initiatives.
  • Follow agency policies, program requirements, and best practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the mission of New Hope Services.

Required Skills & Abilities

  • Valid driver's license, proof of insurance meeting company requirements, and reliable transportation for client transportation needs.
  • Current or ability to obtain and maintain required certifications, including TB screening, CPI, CPR, First Aid, and Universal Precautions.
  • Professional demeanor with the ability to build positive relationships with clients, coworkers, and community partners.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of client and employee information.
  • Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Flexible schedule to meet client and program needs.

Education/Experience

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Social Services, Human Services, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in Employment Services.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
  • Must successfully pass a criminal background check with no disqualifying findings and a pre-employment drug screen.
  • Ability to maintain compliance with all agency, state, and federal requirements related to service delivery.

  • Occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and talk or hear.
  • Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision and distance vision.

This position requires access to client Protected Health Information (PHI), subject to the minimum necessary and need-to-know standards. The position may also require limited access to employee PHI, as needed to perform assigned administrative responsibilities and in accordance with applicable privacy and confidentiality requirements.
