POSITION SUMMARY:
The Loan Operations Specialist II is responsible for providing operational and portfolio servicing support for a diverse commercial and healthcare lending portfolio. This role serves as a key point of contact for borrowers, participating banks, and internal stakeholders, ensuring accurate loan boarding, servicing, escrow administration, and portfolio maintenance while delivering exceptional client service.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage and service an assigned portfolio of commercial and healthcare lending relationships.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for borrowers, participating banks, and internal business partners regarding loan servicing matters.
• Review loan documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with servicing requirements.
• Prepare loan booking packages and onboard new loans into the servicing system.
• Maintain loan records and ensure all servicing files are accurate, complete, and appropriately documented.
• Review borrower financial and operational reporting, including health surveys and other required portfolio monitoring information.
• Prepare and distribute monthly billing statements and other client communications.
• Process and post loan payments accurately and timely within the servicing platform.
• Prepare and distribute monthly escrow statements to borrowers.
• Monitor escrow accounts, including taxes, insurance, replacement reserves, repair reserves, and other restricted accounts.
• Obtain, review, and maintain tax bills, insurance certificates, and other required collateral documentation.
• Review and approve replacement reserve disbursements, repair draws, and other borrower requests in accordance with loan requirements.
• Assist with payoff statements, principal paydown requests, and loan modifications.
• Reconcile servicing records and support periodic account reviews and audits.
• Maintain organized electronic and physical loan files, including correspondence, reconciliations, payment support, and servicing documentation.
• Collaborate with Portfolio Management, Credit Administration, and Operations teams to ensure accurate and timely servicing of the loan portfolio.
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
• 3+ years of experience in commercial loan servicing, loan operations, portfolio administration, or a related banking function.
• Working knowledge of commercial loan documentation, loan servicing, asset management, and portfolio administration.
• Experience supporting commercial real estate, healthcare finance, multifamily, or specialty lending portfolios preferred.
• Knowledge of escrow administration, reserve account management, tax and insurance monitoring, and collateral tracking preferred.
• Experience with loan servicing systems such as FICS and/or Jack Henry preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong customer service, communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: We offer a hybrid schedule, with 4 days in-office and 1 day remote after the initial 90-day period.

COMPENSATION DISCLOSURE:
In accordance with Maryland's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, we are committed to providing transparent wage information for all posted job opportunities. The salary range for this position is $65,000 to $75,000 per year. Compensation is determined based on factors such as Experience, Qualifications, and Internal equity.
