Job Description

Description: Key Responsibilities

Operate heavy equipment including forklifts, mobile cranes, and other rigging machinery to safely move oversized and heavy equipment within the yard.
Perform pre-use inspections and routine maintenance checks on rigging gear and lifting equipment to ensure operational integrity.
Load and unload heavy machinery and components from flatbeds, lowboys, and other specialized trailers.
Properly secure loads using chains, binders, straps, and other rigging hardware in accordance with DOT and company standards.
Assist with staging, blocking, cribbing, and positioning of equipment for transport preparation.
Maintain a clean and organized yard environment.
Strictly follow OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and heavy haul best practices.

Requirements: Qualifications

Prior experience in heavy haul, rigging, construction, or industrial yard operations required.
Working knowledge of load securement principles and weight distribution.
Ability to operate forklifts and cranes (certification preferred).
Strong understanding of safe lifting techniques and rigging hardware.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Physically capable of lifting, climbing, and performing manual labor as required.
