Baker Manufacturing Company, LLC
Location: Evansville, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: 5:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday. Overtime may be required on Fridays and/or Saturdays. Scheduled hours may vary slightly depending on the position assigned and operational needs.
Baker Manufacturing is hiring dependable, hardworking individuals for multiple production positions within our foundry. Available opportunities may include molding, pouring, shifting, grinding, chipping, blast cleaning, material handling, furnace operators, lift-truck operation, and other foundry production work.

Depending on the position assigned, responsibilities may include:
- Perform production work related to molding, pouring, shifting, grinding, chipping, cleaning, finishing, or handling metal castings.
- Operate assigned foundry machinery, equipment, hand tools, and power tools safely.
- Inspect materials, castings, and completed work for visible defects or quality concerns.
- Move materials, parts, molds, and finished products throughout the production area.
- Follow established work instructions, production requirements, and quality standards.
- Complete required production and quality documentation accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Wear all required personal protective equipment.
- Follow company safety rules, policies, and procedures.
- Report equipment concerns, unsafe conditions, injuries, and quality issues promptly.
- Work cooperatively with supervisors, leads, maintenance, quality personnel, and other production employees.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Foundry work is physically demanding and takes place in an industrial manufacturing environment. Employees may regularly work around:
- High temperatures and radiant heat
- Molten metal and hot castings
- Dust, sand, smoke, fumes, and airborne particles
- Loud machinery and production noise
- Moving equipment, lift trucks, and industrial vehicles
- Uneven, wet, or slippery walking surfaces
- Sparks, vibration, and varying temperatures
Employees must follow all safety procedures and wear required protective equipment, which may include safety glasses, hearing protection, safety-toe footwear, gloves, face shields, respirators, protective clothing, and heat-resistant equipment.
Physical RequirementsPhysical requirements may vary slightly depending on the assigned position. Employees must generally be able to:
- Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Frequently bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, reach, twist, and maintain balance.
- Climb steps or stairs and safely access equipment or work platforms when required.
- Push, pull, grip, handle, and perform repetitive movements.
- Lift and carry materials or castings weighing up to 50 pounds independently.
- Use appropriate lifting equipment or assistance for items weighing more than 50 pounds.
- Safely work around foundry machinery, moving equipment, hot materials, and production operations.
- Wear required personal protective equipment for the duration of the shift.
- Work safely and effectively in hot, dusty, noisy, and physically demanding conditions.
- Previous manufacturing, foundry, construction, farming, warehouse, or other physically demanding work experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to work safely, dependably, and cooperatively as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn different foundry processes and operate assigned equipment.
- Ability to maintain regular and reliable attendance.
- Ability to work scheduled overtime when required.
- Forklift or industrial equipment experience may be required for certain positions.
